Hello,
Looking for general knowledge and advice as new to redundancy.
Quick background verbally told being made redundant on 27/11 as company being forced into administration by HMRC (Winding up order). Last day was 30/11/12 (yesterday).
As of yet I have received no written confirmation of redundancy, the administrators are being appointed next Tuesday and I need to claim redunduncy from the National Insurance Fund (Have already requested a RP1 form)
I have started completing the JSA form online but having a bit of a nightmare, think I'll pop to job centre on Monday.
Thanks
EH

I am sorry to hear of your redundancy situation.
With regard to your request for advice - it would be helpful if you tell us what it is you need information about, or just ask questions. People are generally very helpful on this board, but we need some idea of what advice you are looking for?
Re JSA/Benefits advice - you'd probably get a better response on the benefits board, but you might find it useful to phone jobcentre plus as they will go through the basics with you over the phone (or at least they used to, hopefully someone will be along to confirm/correct this) Telephone: 0800 055 6688
DxI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
