    What you do have to remember also is that any future request for the DWP to look at the award given by the Tribunal can/might/will be removed altogether - quite a risk.
    Also PIP is around the corner - so another assessment is due in the next few years.

    However if you are absolutely certain that HRM should have been awarded instead of LRM, and you have bags full of good substantive evidence, then yes ask for a review of the current award.
    Personally I wouldn't heed a single word of your advice Andy. Having had the benefit of being on the gravy train for so long as you have and actually bragging about it for so long I am so happy to learn that there is such a thing as 'karma'. I do hope you have a sympathetic job advisor and I wish you well with the Work Programme.

    And mental health impairments attract the lower rate of mobility, the higher rate is almost exclusivly awarded for mobility impairments or blindness.

    My son has autism and gets HRM.

    Re- cerebral palsy I meant to say impairment as a result of brain injury or abnormal development.

    TBH I think that it all depends on who is assessing your claim, if they are having a good day or not etc etc.

    Our original claim clearly stated in a report by an OT that he couldn't cook a one course meal .... which is one of the criteria for care component, but they still rejected the claim.

    TBH we have fought this for 10 months and I don't have the energy to challenge it again.
