Central Heating Pump running constantly

Hi all,
I've got a gravity fed hot water pumped heating system fed from a Potterton Suprima (not sure of the exact spec) boiler which is about 11 years old.
We put in a new central heating pump about 5 months ago due to the old one dying. However, I noticed last night that the pump was still operating despite the heating being turned off. I wondered if it would stop after a while but i woke up at about 3am and it was still going strong.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this??
Thanks,
Rich

Turn the thermostat for the inside temperature down towards "lowest" and when the pump stops the problem is solved, if your water does not go cold too. (Useful if you go away on a ski holiday next winter but don't want to come back to a frozen solid house.) It would help for the next time, if you could read the instruction manual and colour in the wiring diagram at the same time.
(I once lived in a house with a thermostat that evaluated the temperature in the garden. New neighbours moved in during July. When they could not get the radiators to switch on they called good old british gas. The so called engineer took their boiler to pieces - it took me ages to put it back together for them and then jam an ice cube next to the thermostat. Not sure if they refused to pay BG;)
