Your nearest forest park (Dept of Agriculture) will sell them, sorry don't know prices for this year.0

We got a fresh tree today. We were told in a couple of places that the bad winter 2 years ago killed a lot of young trees, so they are in shorter supply this year. We paid £35 for a 6-7 foot tree at a green grocers. We went to Homebase and they were charging for Nordman Fir £25 for a 4-5 foot, £35 for 5-6 foot. £45 for 6-7 foot and have 15% off everything this weekend, but I couldn't see any trees over 6 foot and the ones they had looked a bit scrawny.
DH asked at a place outside the Silver Eel Pub near Glenavy/Aghalee and they were charging £5 per foot.0 -
i always go to Peter Barratts and i paid £69.99 for a 7 foot nordman fir.0

After many years of shopping around I find the low needle drop trees from b& q last the longest. They also wrap them which makes it easier to get them home!!0

I always buy my tree from Coulter's Trees. They're located just outside of Carrowdore (near Millisle, Co. Down). They mostly grow their own, but do buy in some as well. Their prices range from £25 upwards and they sell pines, nordmans and nobles. If you want, you can even bring your wellies and go into the field to choose your own tree (we haven't done this, but see some familes who do). We have always bought a nordman 7 ft and it costs us £35. They net if for you so you can get it into the car. We bought a stand from them 2years ago and they still drill each Christmans tree for us so we can re-use the stand. I have seen them cut the tree to size if people bring in their pot. There is no extra charge for this. Overall, I have been very pleased with them and have no problem in recommending them again this year.0

Did anyone go to Ikea for a tree this weekend? They are advertising that you can buy real trees this weekend and next for £25 and get a £20 Ikea voucher that is valid after Christmas. If the trees are good that sounds like brilliant value.0

Got ours from Ikea and would recommend it. As Golden says, you get a £20 voucher but you also get £5 off tree decorations so it is technically free!
What to do is lift a leaflet in store, gather up your tree decorations (I just lifted a fiver's worth), take it to the till and pay for your tree there. Then go out to the carpark, pick your tree and you get your £20 voucher there (which is valid for use in January).
I'm telling you this as they don't really tell you what to do, it isn't clear so I ended up going backwards and forwards between the store and carpark before getting sorted out!0
