Wireless router keeps dis-connecting

Hi. I'm using a Belkin Wireless G router in my house and for some reason it keeps on disconnecting after about every 10mins or so. A red cross appears on the wireless icon in the bottom right tray. Also when I check the router, a red light shows up. I switch my router on and off and then the problem goes away for around 10mins. Any help would be great.

try changing channels on the router, use netstumbler to see if anything is conflicting.

If you are using software on the PC that came with the card to manage the connection, try switching to letting windows manage.

Yes i've changed the channels around many times. Also I am managing through windows at the moment. I've changed it and it still doesn't make a difference. What is netstumbler though? I've never heard of this

Be aware that channels can overlap upto 5 channels away, which is why routers tend to come on channels 1 6 11

Have you encrypted it?
