B e d l u m beds......... waiting and no reply!!

I ordered a mattress from the above company for my DD and have heard nothing from them. We had previously bought a bed from them, great customer service, prompt delivery, good communication.
I'm getting worried now. I placed and paid for my order on 20th November, and despite phone calls and emails asking when to expect delivery, I have heard nothing.
Is anyone else having problems?

Thankfully I paid through Paypal, so should be able to get a refund okay if needed.

Didn't the company owner used to post on here? I think he got banned.

Looks like it since the company name is blanked out everywhere. I was still happy with the bed we got so wanted the same brand again.

He sure did, he was arguing about anything and everything that anyone said against his advice on beds and mattresses. Even other members of the same trade as him.

Brilliantly marketing by the guy.

But now banned.

I know that you haven't actually named the member but please be aware of the Forum Rule about discussing members who have been PPR'd:


We don't remove people's posting privileges (PPR or ban) lightly. No one pays anything to use this site; and our first consideration must be towards protecting it from increased cost and legal challenge (although on mainstream issues of consumers rights we may choose to take battles on). Posting on MoneySavingExpert.com is a privilege not a right. We can refuse permission to post without giving a reason.

In the past, we tried hard not to PPR long-standing forum users. Sadly, we had so many issues taking time away from our core MoneySaving work, that protection had to go. Now, if someone's persistently causing trouble, they're PPR'd. If they are please do not discuss them. It's unfair to do this when they aren't able to respond.

Thank you for posting the rules on this. I really didn't want to start up any mud-slinging with this thread. I just am genuinely wondering if anyone has any info that can help me.
I'm happy if people can even PM me please.

It is hardly a forum rule it is asking people to kindly not to discuss others. Says nothing there about it must be adhered to

I'm going through paypal today to ask for a refund. Don't know what is happening with this company. Still no reply to emails and now when you ring the contact number, you can't leave a message. Doesn't look good!

GRRRRR! Have just got a reply back from someone who had left negative FB on ebay for this company and he had a problem as early as October!! And they still took my money at the end of November!
Oh, and you can still go on their site today and order a bed. How do they sleep at night??
