Hello,
I have received a letter from this company asking for £64
They are asking for it on behalf of Three.
I live with my parents and really don't want recovery agents at my door. I know they can't actually do anything, but all the same, it would not look good.
I got the letter on the 23rd, are they likely to turn up at my door? If so when?
I have emailed them twice this week and haven't received a reply.
Do you have any advice?
Also: Should I pay it on paycars.co.uk? and would I have to pay the full amount or can I just pay the £40 I can afford to get them off my back?

i have never known agents to actually knock on anybodys door, its just scare tactics to get you to call them0

If you do owe them the money then I suggest you pay it. If you can't afford to pay it all I would hope they would agree to allow you to pay it in instalments.0

Oh Ok, So that will give me some leeway until I get paid? I should get paid next friday so that's enough time right?0

If you can pay it all next Friday I would just call them and explain that fact. I am sure they will be willing to wait a week.0

Some DCA's do doorstep for surprisingly small amounts. It normally happens when they have a decent cluster of debts in one area which makes it worthwhile doorstepping.
As you can pay £40 then call them. Then make arrangements to pay what you can afford. It may be better to offer £20 now, and £20 for next month to give yourself some breathing space.
And if you really really want to stop any chance of visits then send them a letter removing their implied right to visit and to deal with the matter only by post. The man without a signature.0
