just been offered my placement and will have to travel all over for it - I can't turn it down and I really need to pass my test and magically buy a car and insurance to survive it.... meh!!!!! what to do? travel was going to cost me £600 for 4 months just for the placement and TBH I was hopingI could magically buy a car, it's just the added pressure that doesn't help...

Bought £7.35 of veg marked down to £1.74. Used my son's student discount when buying clothes (for him) - saving £3.80. I tried to find used clothes but couldn't find anything that fit him properly bar one nice shirt by Next for £3.00.
For myself I got a decent jacket (£7.99) and top (£4.99). I have saved a lot over the years buying clothes second hand. Of course, I saved most money by not buying clothes very often - but teenagers grow fast (and even I need something 'new' occasionally)! Super-fun-frugal :dance:0 -
