Just opened my sealed pot of loose change so now can add £4. I'll be putting this towards the cost of a ham for Christmas.

  • Well not much money making going on here at the moment.

I had a flat tyre last week, i mean totally flat and had come of its alloy, fitted the temp spare and took it to kwikfit, they pumped up the flat and got it back on the alloy but couldnt find any punctures ect, they refitted it and stowed the spare back under the car for me....For free! :D

I dont shop at argos much, but had a old £5 gift card that was about to expire ( i actually bought a purse from the carboot for 20p and the card was in it :D ) so finally got around to using that to buy OH a bike pump.

I dont Add savings, because i always try to save as much as possible when shopping, thats just the way i shop, and the money i save i can't afford to put to one side, but thought i'd share these two examples because they are slightly unusual for me :)

Couple of bits ending soon on ebay, only 1 has a bid though

Have finally, after 10 months :o, got around to phoning BT, who we haven't been with for said 10 months, to get the £17.67 refunded that our account was in credit. They've sent me an online bill every month and I kept meaning to phone.
I'd love to be one of these organised types that just gets things done, instead of taking 10 MONTHS to make a blooming phone call. And to a free phone number, so I can't even say I've put it off to save money on the call ;)
