Regarding the supermarket sentence. Am I right in thinking that you include savings made in supermarkets by switching to cheaper brands and putting the difference into the pot?

Exactly :) And like Nimbo said, each person does it differently, depending on what they want to do. This whole challenge is just a guide and motivator, rather than giving you a massive set of rules.
If you are standing in Tesco, and make a concious effort to choose the cheaper brand than usual, then yes I would say put the difference in a pot, as you would have previously spent it, so in effect weren't missing the money. Iyswim.
Whereas you will notice the 'extra' money adding up which can be used somewhere more worthwhile, such as off a debt.

I would recommend Valued Opinions as a good survey company as their surveys tend to be reasonable lengths, reasonably paid, and pretty frequent. I usually cash out once or twice a month from them for a £10 voucher.
5-10 min surveys tend to be 50p, 20 mins £1.
I do surveys in the background while doing other things online so I don't really notice they take the time, doing 4-5 mins, then 4-5 mins 10 mins later while I'm waiting for things to load etc. I don't notice the time that much, (which is rare, as I don't have a lot of it spare :rotfl:)

Forgot after that, I got my cheque yesterday from Global Test market, for £31.38.
Won't get to put it in the bank for a few days now, but I'm adding it now anyway as it means I'm not doing so crappy for the month now as it brings me up to date and on track at £230.30 on the 23rd :D

£12 from a Facebook sale. Something I got for free so all profit :D

Also, I'm being a bit lazy rather than looking myself as I'm sure it would say somewhere on the site, but I've lots of bits to do today so short of time, but I know a few of you have used the Red Spotted Hanky website before, with the free vouchers that were linked to from MSE a bit ago (and as they do every so often).
The vouchers run out at the end of the year, but does that mean I have to actually travel before then, or just book the tickets before then? If the latter, how far in advance can tickets be booked? :)
