£4.85 from paypal transferred....
also saved £3.20 on a taxi home from the supermarket as I wasn't waiting an hour (I really needed to pee!!!) so I struggled home the 10 minute walk took 25 minutes, and my hands / shoulders will ache for days!!!!!!!!
but at least I didn't pee my pants at supermarket!!!!
and in other news I passed my driving test yesterday!!!!!!!!!! I just can't stop smiling...
oooh and found a penny in my Mum's car on Wednesday which I kept for luck the next day....
Was going to say that the penny could be useful next time you need to pee, but it's much more expensive now:rotfl:0 -
Forgot to add, 10p from pub floor, sensing a money making theme , which is fine if i'm not paying for drinks!!

Does the supermarket not have a toilet?!
my closest supermarket is a lidl, and they don't have customer loos. - but it is only a 10 minute walk on a good day - and if id known there were no taxis I wouldn't have bought milk, and tinned stuff.... i was just making sure I had enough in to last me through boxing day etc... hahaha
thanks all for the congrats - I treated my self for £4 I bought 6 bunches of flowers that would have cost £50 if I had bought them full price!!!!! I have a vase of flowers in each room in the house - this morning I just smiled at my pink roses for 20 minutes!!!!!!!!

Thanks Monkeynut. I thought everyone was having to spend hours each day filling in surveys, mystery shopping and stuff. I am a mystery shopper, but due to my rural location, I perhaps only get included once or twice a month and I would imagine townies/city dwellers receive a lot of invitations to do them.
Regarding the supermarket sentence. Am I right in thinking that you include savings made in supermarkets by switching to cheaper brands and putting the difference into the pot?

each person does it slightly differently - I for example may count the down shift savings for the first trip - and them I'd consider it 'normal'...
however the saving on yellowed stickered items I consider a saving if I would have bought it anyway...
Some people use other sites but I probably spend no more than 45 minutes over the course of a week or 2 weeks depending how many I get through doing surveys and make around £15 a month from them. not a massive hitter but the odd three pounds in luncheon vouchers or £5 in Amazon vouchers for me is a nice bonus (I'm a student so Amazon vouchers are really useful)... some sights may pay pennies for one or two clicks and others pay out at £5 a time for 10 minutes...
all the little bits add up, and soon make a bit of a difference...
I have to admit the things that take too long to add up I don't really do that often -however yougov took me 4 / 5 years to pay out but i'll get £50 quid for it - but it was 5 minutes here and there (some done on break at work)...
if you have children listing things (old toys and clothes etc) can net you a few quid here and there for things that may have gone in the bin, and all it requires is the photo, and to listen for the knock on the door while you're hoovering or whatever... I have a separate page on face-book and I sell all my old clutter on there...
you can just go down the list and do the 'big hitters' on there....
after Christmas any unwanted gifts may go really well on fleabay and facebook (people shop for all birthdays and Christmas in January)... The really organised ones...
