Used postage stamps - which charites collect them please?

Loads of charities still collect them as the link above shows.
Be aware that the more unusual stamps are worth more. Generally the everyday 'Queen's head' variety isn't worth much so if you have time to sort them as it would bring in more cash. I know, for example that Dogs Trust actually ask you not to send the everyday variety. Other charities don't seem to mind. I assume they are paid by weight.

We collect them at PreemiesUK
as we use the funds to pay for parcels of knitted/crocheted items to the neonatal units throughout the UK as we are not a registered charity we have to fund ourselves. As we have a bloke who pays us £20 per kilo of stamps x

I volunteer for a charity called Postpals who collect them also, you can see on their website the work they do to make sick children smile!

Our charity has started to collect used stamps too. We get paid for used stamps by weight so everyday stamps are fine. Our fundraisers can send their used stamps directly to the recycling company who will credit our account. This means we don't have to store used stamps up until we have enough to sell

Please collect your used stamps and help us to raise valuable funds
Stamps are worth about £6.00 per kilo so can make a BIG difference to our fundraising. Please just tear them from envelopes that come in the post. Leave your stamps on their original envelopes but trim them to leave about 1 cm paper around each one. The face value of the stamp doesn't matter, they are all worth something.
