At best an ill informed member of staff. Ask Lloyds to provide details of the case they claim to have won. I would continue with your claim and don't worry about this.0 -
Ask for that in writing. The best the banks have come up with in court is that their charges are fair, transparent and laid out in the T & C's. It would be interesting to produce that letter in court

haha. This bank charges now being lawful has seemed to slip the media and millions of people on the verge of a payout.
This is there new tactic?!
"Its legal, the OFT ruling was yesterday and it rules in the banks favour, would you like insurance for anything in the house, sir?"Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -
I agree with the earlier poster - Lloyds are crooks and will try anything to put you off or delay them having to pay you what they owe. I call it their 'filtering technique' - each time they dream up a new tactic they probably cause a few more of us to give up so that by the time it gets as far as an imminent court case there are only a few of us really determined to go 'all the way' if necessary. Make sure they don't succeed with you - you're not alone! And never forget - the charges ARE unlawful and it is YOUR money you are asking for, not theirs'! I have vowed to take it to the bitter end! GOOD LUCK!!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

As far as I know the OFT hasn't ruled.
