Hi, probably a simple solution but I don't know the answer.
My computer is loaded with windows Vista, IE7 and Virgin as my internet home page.
When I begin to type a website in the search box, as soon as I type the first letter, a drop down box appears showing the websites that I have previously visited.
How do I stop this box appearing?
I have set IE7 to not keep details of previousl visited sites for more than one day via the advanced section in internet history.
Any help appreciated

Thanks mate that has worked for the address bar at the top but I need to remove the drop down box on the Virgin Home page search facility."This time next year Rodney, we'll be millionaires"0

To delete search box entries, click twice in the box, hover the mouse to highlight the search text and press Delete key0

Cheers mate, that has worked and was simple.
Is there any way I can deactivate this annoying box from appearing again?
Have had this PC set up for about 3 months and this box did not appear until today when the Mrs reformatted the computer."This time next year Rodney, we'll be millionaires"0 -
The AutoComplete form setting from Albert's post should do that. Also, Internet Options - General - Browsing history Delete - Delete forms will delete all current entries.0
