Radiator in kitchen - is there any point?

If you want to sell the house people won't like it, if you choose to live till you die, you will need heating when you are old.
I have a large kitchen - 4.5m x 6m - fitted with wet UFH, on top of which are ceramic tiles. There is no radiator but an external door, a large window, and a 2m long roof lantern. Crucially, the kitchen is in a ground floor extension.
In the winter, the room never gets warmer than 12 to 14 degrees, no matter how long the UFH has been running. That's because UFH generates a warm, even heat with no draughts but is slow. So, as quickly as heat is generated, it is lost through the glazing.
I've had enough and decided to install a large radiator, at least 15,000 btus. I honestly don't care what it looks like because, if I want to sell the house, at present, I can't have buyers round to look at it between November and March.
I guess whether or not a radiator is needed depends on the layout of one's kitchen. UFH is good but only works in certain circumstances - I wouldn't recommend it in a room with lots of glazing. So be careful when removing a radiator in favour of UFH.0 -
I find plinth heaters to be a total waste of space TBH.
