B/Card Platinum BT Advice needed

Hello.
Ive just been approved for the card and in the application process i put in the two card numbers and account balance it asks to transfer, but one card the amount is correct but the other is wrong.
So i phoned them up and the operater said that i can sort this out when i phone them to activate my card when it arrives, she also said that i can make as many transfers from that card to the Barclaycard as lond as i have credit left, ive since read that you can only make one transfer from a card is this right.

  • No. you can make multiple BT but be mindful, you will pay BT fee's for each one and up to 95% (usually) of your limit.

    How 'wrong' were you?

thx for the reply, basically i need to buy someting, i entered £600 to transfer but i need to buy something for £2500, so basically id be transfering £3100 instead of £600 so instead of me making 1 transfer it maybe 3, i dont mind paying the extra BT fees because its cheaper than paying the interest.

I read that you cant on moneyfacts.co.uk in the barclaycard platinum page.
  • I did with my barclaycard.

You will have a specified period in which you can make any number of BTs at 0% interest up to a maximum of about 95% of your credit limit. It's usually 2-3 months. The number you make doesn't matter as the overall % in fees will remain exactly the same (providing each transfer amount exceeds the minimum fee amount)

Thank god for that, im buying a bike for £3000 and this means that i can pay a deposit of £1500 on my Nationwide card wait for it to appear on my account which i think is 3 days and the do the B/Card BT and the pay the remainder on my Nationwide card and then the same process.

Any idea how long it takes from asking B/Card to transfer it until it comes of the Nationwide card.

    Thx
