Anybody know anything about this tariff www e saver 1 rate, thats what it is called on my on-line bills.
I have been looking on the comparison sites and the energy helpline is the only one that seems to have:confused: it.
Anyway the bottom line is Energyhelpline says i will lose by changing, the others I've tried say i will save money:confused:

Southern area customer
Electric>12.88 daily + 6.378 per unit
Gas>11.63 " + 1.865 " "
Discount
Duel Fuel>£10.50 per year
On-line >£47.25 per year
Prices are before VAT

Should i sit tight or should i go go go

Just out of interest, if energyhelpline is the only one that has it, how have the others worked out you will save money by changing?

None of them have it worded exactly as it is on my bill so i put in the one that looks to be most like it,what else can i do?
If you know please tell me.

What is your opinion on the prices i am being charged.

Should i sit tight or should i go .

That is the no longer available (to switch to) on line energy saver 1 tariff.

    The latest version is 3.

That has reduced gas prices, but also reduced discount level.

A check on the comparison sites, inputting energy saver 1 as your current tariff should show whether it is worthwhile switching to the new version 3.

Thanks for the reply Quentin your advice is good in theory but in practice none of the sites i tried list internet energy saver 1 as one of the options on their inputting drop down
Energyhelpline come nearest.Of course i could be missing something it wouldn't be the first time!

Energyhelpline has it as online energy saver. (There isn't a 1 at the end, but it is the correct tariff you are looking for)

Yes that is my opinion also, when i put in all my details, annual consumption etc energyhelpline say i will loose money if i switch, that's how i read it anyway.
Looks like i might already be on the best rate :)
So why is it i have this terrible feeling that I'm wrong :(

If you are sure you are on the original on-line energy saver tariff, then moving off would be more expensive as they raised the unit prices a lot when energy saver 2 came in.

If you use energyhelpline you can check your current tariff details - see if the rates quoted match the rates on your bill.

Yes Quentin just checked energyhelpline and the rates quoted matched the rates on my bill.
Looks as if i have done the right thing for once in my life.

    Cheers!
