New York JFK Airport Transfers

Anyone have any links for cheap airport transfers. Got to get from JFK to New Jersey (only 10 mins from Manhattan) then a return to Newark a few days later.

6 passengers and would really love to go in style on the cheap lol

  • We're staying just through the Hudson Tunnel in Weehawken, 49th Street I think.

I went to NJ about a year ago. At JFK I used the air train to Jamaica, and the Long Island Railroad to Penn Central station, a short walk along to the Path station on 33rd St and the Path train to Hoboken. From there you can get the Hudson Bergen Light Rail tram to Weehawken. There are stops at Hudson Harbor and Port Imperial. Sounds complicated but is quite straightforward in practice and would take less than an hour I would have thought as even with several changes services are so frequent.

Last year a combined Air train/Long Island ticket was 8 dollars, a path ticket was 1.50 and I imagine the tram ticket would only be 1 or 2 dollars.

    Try Carmel -

    Excellent advice

Carmel web-site looks like a stretch limo is $180, minivan is $100.
The other cheap alternative is the Super Shuttle
    They don't go to NJ
