I bought a Pure Evoke-1 about a year ago. I also bought the little satelite speaker to go with it so I get full separated stereo.

Its got a very good sound for such a dinky little radio. Well worth it. My only complaint is that it could do with more presets.

The one downside to DAB is that if your reception is a bit suspect it can keep cutting out unlike analogue radios where it would just get crackly.

I've got a Roberts which I bought from Amazon on some offer. Superb clear sound. Once you've listened to Digital there's no going back.

If you are after the best quality audio, radio from a freeview box is the best way to go as they pump out a higher bit rate than on DAB. At least, so I have heard.

I've actually got the Intempo DAB radio (as shown in the shopgenie link above) and it's excellent. Doesn't pump out great volume but is fine for kitchen/bedroom etc. Also, I have a freeview box wired through my hifi...and listen to DAB radio that way too...sound quality is phenomenal! So if you're looking for the cheapest method of getting DAB radio..I've noticed that freeview boxes are even cheaper than the DAB radios!

I got the DRX-701ES from Pure-Digital about a year ago. It has a USB port at back so firmware upgrades are possible. Already had one firmware fix for a volume fix, works great!
