I bought an item from over seas and after over 4 weeks it hasn't arrived.i contacted the seller and asked for a refund, they tried to fob me off and ask me to wait even longer. told them I no longer needed it now and I would like a refund.again he tried to fob me off.i had ordered several other items at the same time from the same place just different sellers, all of which have arrived.he eventually agreed to refund and told me to promise him if they turned up id pay him.anyway today I have received a cancellation requests from him, is this because he doesn't want me to leave feedback or is there other reasons?

You could look at it that way,but as you have cancelled the purchase then the decent thing to do would be to agree the cancellation request so the seller gets there fees back.
You never know, some sellers have been known to tell the truth.

If you feel they behaved reasonably then it would be good manners to cancel the transaction. If they kept you waiting unnecessarily or were rude or uncooperative, then you don't have to.
It's up to you - no-one else can really assess the messages you received or what you feel about this. I'd be happy to co-operate with someone who was polite, but to be honest I haven't done so when I've felt badly treated myself."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
