How much to change bricks in storage heater?

Hi all,
I have a Creda Sensair storage heater that I have just started using for the first time this winter. It appears to only be hot on one side. I believe it may need new bricks or maybe even a new element.
Does anyone have any experience of this and how much it may cost?
Thanks for any help or further info.
Cheers Si

Bricks are bricks-there is nothing to fail. So it must be the element that is suspect. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Thanks macman. Yes I was having a moment. Ofcourse the bricks cannot fail! I did suspect the element, I will look at sourcing a spare and fitting it myself.
Thanks for your reply. Cheers.0 -
Before you buy a new element make sure it's not just the screws holding the element into the supply, that have worked loose.Obviously cutting electricity supply before you do anything.0

to replace the element you will need to remove the bricks & these are very very heavy & alot of the old heaters also contain aspestosI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
All in all it's just another brick, in the wall.0
