Vent - National Accident Database

Your details were probably sold by your insurance company, which got your consent. Car insurance is very unprofitable and most companies are losing money on insurance premiums, so they boost their earnings by selling referalls to claims management companies.0

Tell them you have already claimed, even if you haven't."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Today I had a call from Injury Lawyers 4U asking how I am feeling after yesterday's accident
I asked who had given them my details
The caller said that either I or the third party had reported the accident and they then follow it up from the "national accident database"
I feel agrieved that my details are so readiliy availble to a company I have no dealings with
Does anyone know who maintains this database?
I had an accident two weeks ago and have had, to date, between 10 or 15 calls from various "injury lawyers". I feel pretty peed off about my details being passed on as well.0
