ebay listing question - 'estimated delivery' date

A question from an newbie ebay seller ...

I've set up an item to sell but I'm confused by what ebay has put in the listing for delivery info.
I set it up yesterday on a 10 day listing (+ buy-it-now option) so it has an end-date of 9 December, but in the listing it is showing as:

Delivery: Estimated between Thu. 6 Dec. and Fri. 7 Dec

On the delivery options I've selected Parcelforce 48 and said that I'll dispatch within 3 days.

The only possible explanation I can think of is that if someone goes for the BIN option, 6/7 Dec is when they might expect to receive it.

Is this the case or is there something I've missed in setting up the listing?

Know idea why the glitch happened ,

    but .......

have a read through the forum re posting /delivery, problems / advice.

3 days to dispatch could lead you to a short lived account :-(

    Not really.

3 days is on the outer limits of what I'd personally recommend, but won't automatically lead to problems, unless you ignore your own buyers' issues. If you make things clear, post promptly and use the appropriate carrier, being responsive can make things not a forgone conclusion.

You have to be failing for a very long time, and take no other action, before you get banned.

Thanks for the comments - still don't know what went wrong with the listing but the issue has gone away as a buyer went for Buy it now.
