Options
I hope no one minds but I couldn't find a thread for this coming week's meal plans so I've started this thread. If it's a duplicate can a mod please move :) Here's a link to last weeks thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4305465

In no particular order, with bits I need to buy underlined :)

1. Home made pizza
(using pizza bases), not tried this for ages. I have a carton of passata. Some ham, onions. Need mozerella.

2. Home made veggie/Quorn chilli
and pasta/rice. Not tried this before. Probably need some more onions, coriander, celery to pimp it up.

3. Roast chicken or pork belly, pots, veg

4. Hot dogs
with ciabatta rolls, onions, mustard, ketchup etc

5. Home made Lamb stew
(from the freezer) with pots, veg

6. Home made curry
(from the freezer) with basmati rice. Have some prawn crackers from the Chinese shop which I may fry up in batches.

7. Lasagne
with mince, red onions, courgettes, mozerella (and Dolmio sauces)
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

    I've been Money Tipped!
Weekend we ate soup all lunches and dh made pizza. Last night I made veggie burgers and was pleased and surprised by the result. Next time I might make double the batch and freeze some for a future meal. :)

I still have veg soup left, so that's me for today.

Tomorrow it will be an omlette I think.

Wednesday, soup again (it's just me this week and I am trying to keep colourise down in the run up to Christmas)

Thursday, friends for supper. Middle eastern style spread is planned. (must soak the chick peas on Wednesday)

Dh has a long weekend so I plan to tackle the weekend meal planning as a separate thing. We are eating out once over that time certainly.
  • My meal plans for this week are:

    M - Roast pork
T - Pork and apple stew with mash and veg
W - Veg stir fry, using leftover pork if there is any
    T - Mushroom risotto
F - Fish pie (Using hake and salmon in freezer)
S - Thai green chicken curry (Using chicken in freezer)
S - Roast chicken, potato and veg

Just need to buy mushrooms, peppers and spring onions to start and top up veg at the end of the week :)
