hi everyone I am a customer service advisor for southern electric and can say I am sorry to everyone on behalf of SSE who has a had a rogue doorknocker representing the company. the company does not take complaints lightly, in fact every complaint is dealt with severely.

What happens is the customer complains (we actually appreciate customers doing this as it gets rid of the bad salespeople) the salespeson then gets a marker put against there I.D and from there on in EVERY sale they put through is checked by the customer being called to verify they had agreed to change to us, if the customer has not agreed the agency is told and the salesperson is DISMISSED. and does not then work for SSE again (part of the energysure regulations) So if anyone turns up at your door and you are not happy about it please call us and let us know. we really want to help.

there are a lot of salespeople who claim they have no standing charges, sometimes referred to as a meter charge. this claim is usally made on pre-payment meters but has also been made on standard dry meters.

what is not said is the company charges 2 unit prices 1 usally double the price of the other.
