We have just switched from Southern Electric to Powergen and have just had a bill for £376 I switched because they are supposed to be cheaper but they are dearer ie the standard unit for powergen is 16.17 and southern 13.28 quite a difference, where do I stand is there any come back on this? it seems once they have you then they charge what they want and I cant afford £376 either!

I have changed supplier twice using these comparison sites. Both times they have quoted a smaller monthly payment but at the end of the year I have owed them £100's. Both times I used less electricity than what I was quoted for.

    I call that a rip-off.

This site is as bad as them as it recomends them to us.
