Parking at work

I work at a city care center and have been informed by email as of december 1 i will have to pay £39 per month to park at my place of work i will not be guaranteed a parking space close to where i work most evenings i finish at 22.00pm what about my safety ? Is there anyway i claim anything back it total to over £400 a year which i cannt afford? What can i do ?

    - Go to your Union.

    - Put in a formal complaint that your employer is arbitrarily changing the terms of your contract of employment, without your agreement.

    - Talk to other staff members and act calmly but assertively as a joint force.

    - Talk to the local paper as a joint force, get this publicised out in the open.

    - If you do end up paying for parking you MAY be able to claim a proportion back from the taxman. Ask your HR Dept for the phone number of your tax office to ask, if you do end up having a deduction.

    Its not in Nottingham is it? they have the work place levy there now
    Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
    They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
    Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
