Ebay - Ending a listing early - help please

Please can someone offer a bit of advice,

Situation:

I have a clothing item listed as an auction at a start price of £3 plus postage, buyer has placed a bid and then messaged me to see if I'm interested in a BIN price of £11 plus P&P. Price he is offering I would be happy to accept. No watchers.

In the past when i had someone ask me this, they have always done so before placing a bid so I've altered the starting price to the agreed price and then sold to highest bidder when they have placed their bid.

Anyone advise whats the best way forward now they have placed a bid??

Sorry if its a stupid question, i may be having a moment!!!

    you could do 2 things
1, get them to remove their bid or you remove the bid then add BIN price.

2, end the listing then you could always send them a paypal invoice

Its simple to cancel a buyers bid and takes seconds.

I would normally add a link - but you could just search ebay help with 'cancel bid' and it will tell you, cos i've got an headache :(

    Thanks

They agreed to retracted their bid and I increased the start price and then ended listing by selling to high bidder once they had placed their bid.

    So no probs afterall
