Buying a matching kitchen cupboard

Hi,
I've just moved into a new place and want to get a new matching kitchen cupboard to go over the boiler, to make it look a bit nicer.
The house was built 10 years ago by persimmon. What chances have I got of being able to get a matching unit, and where sells them? I'm happy to take a door off to check for a match, but don't know where to start.
Thanks,
Miles.

A lot of developers used Howdens or Magnet Trade. Try them. However most kitchen styles are only available for about 5 years, so you may struggle to be the correct one.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

But, depending on the finish, you might get close enough to be ok.
Last year we got a very close match to some six-year-old light beech finish of unknown supplier from Magnet Trade for our utility room. There were floor units only in there. I bought four units to go above them on the wall.
Unless you look closely you wouldn't notice they don't quite match.
Yours is more difficult as the new unit will adjoin the ten year old units.
However a reasonably close match will probably look better than a visible boiler.
Make sure you get a unit big enough to allow the required space and ventilation for the boiler.
As above, Howdens and Magnet Trade are good places to look.
Good luck.0 -
Thanks for the advice.
It is slightly separated from the other units so a bit of fading shouldn't be noticed.
Any idea roughly how much I should expect to pay for a single cupboard unit?0 -
we bought a new home 12yrs ago. Moores still supply the units for our kitchen!0

Has the cabinet you're trying to find got solid wood fronts or the vinyl wrapped ones? If they are the vinyl ones they don't change colour that much.0

I found a manufacturers sticker hidden in a corner and they are also made by Moore's.
I've contacted them, identified the units and even had a couple of samples sent to me for colour matching.
They then sent me the price and for 2 small wall units it will cost 400, which has moved it a bit down my to do list!0 -
Yes, Moores are not cheap we had to have a door replaced on a dishwasher! However when neighbours are having new kitchens fitted some neighbours have offered bits if they have the same doors!0

Strange isn't it. You are a new poster, and today both of your posts are about vinyl wrapped doors. I'm guessing you are about to hit us with your website that spe I aliases in vinyl wrapped doors.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
