Help with house alarm tamper fault

Hi,
I have an Optima XM house alarm, and due to some building work, my builder has had to remove my bell box for a while. This has now caused a tamper fault which I can't clear, and none of the buttons now work.
Does anyone know of a way that I can clear this fault and temporarily use my alarm while the bell box is removed?
Before someone points out that there's no point as the alarm will make no noise, I also have an extremely loud siren next to the alarm keypad, so it will still give me piece of mind during the night.
I was wondering if it would be as easy as just looping a wire across the bell terminals?!?!
I would be very grateful if someone could help with this, as otherwise I'll be alarmless!!
Regards,
Andy

Disconnect the 12v+ T & A, then put a link across the T & A terminals, that will create the bell tamper loop. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

Thanks muckybutt, but just to double check, the T & A terminals have "SCB" under them - are they the correct ones?
Do I need to cut power/battery first, or do I just take the wires out and replace with a loop?
Also, what are the T & A terminals?0 -

Good practice to remove the power to the bell box before taking it off the wall but too late for that so remove them in the panel.asglasspole wrote: »Also, what are the T & A terminals?
The T & A are what is marked in the manual (TAmper), the pcb as you say says scb which is the same connections, there should be a white line linking the two terminals on the pcb if I remember correctly ?You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
