Ebay calculations

Hi everyone, I wonder if someone can advise me please, I am selling items on ebay for my sister and brother in-law, and need to take into account all fee's etc.

Listing fee's are simple as they are stated on the screen when I put the auction on, and paypal commission is also easy to work out from looking at my paypal a/c. However, is there a link anywhere on ebay to say how much commission ebay take from my FVF?

I thought there might be an option in my drop down menu in my sold items but can't see it anywhere? Failing that does anyone know the % ebay take? We are only talking small items, probably £25 each.

Many thanks in advance

I'm guessing you are a small private seller, in which case, the selling fee is usually 10% (in addition to the listing fee):

  • Just for info.

Ebay take 10% of the item price (excluding P&P).
Paypal take 3.4% of the total amount (including p&P).

There's a very handy Ebay and Paypal calculator available online.
It's called Ecal. Sorry I haven't worked out how to post links but you can just google Ecal.
