    Never experienced that with any card, most allow you to clear the balance mid term and continue spending

    Agreed. I have done this before juggling balance transfers. The limit is point in time not per month
  • if your limit is £2000 then in one month you can only normally spent £2000.

    Nonsense. Your limit is your maximum line of credit they are prepared to offer you at any given moment. Assuming three days for payments to hit your account, you could in theory spend £20k in a month by spending to limit; paying off; repeating.
