In preparation for the New Year, I have taken my total and divided it by 12. Obviously if I beat / miss target each month the following month will either increase or decrease.
I know Hubby is due a bonus in or around April so that will help out and for the following months but as I don't know how much that will be yet, I'm ignoring it.
January's target is £689.91 which I have started off with £15 from xmas money (£5 in a new purse and £10 from a relative).
Also £150 will be a standard payment to the sofa (0%) on the 24th so that brings me down to £524.91 left to find.
Will go through my budget later for Jan and see how much I can squirrel away into savings

Hi YB!
I think I am going to be coming back over here..... I gave into temptation and brought a new car which I have borrowed £12k for....
So my aim is to pay that off ASAP!
I shall subscribe to help you alongNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Oooh 12k Dawn! We can keep each other motivated. I was only thinking earlier about 2014 and getting back to seriously op the mortgage again and then I thought about how old hubby's car is lol0

Well done on the target setting.
I haven't used them but I think there are some free couch to 5k running resources out there (definitely has podcasts)2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Happy new year everyone. Mine started well with double time after midnight
I stayed at work until 2.30am when my brain completely turned to mush and I knew I had to give in. Still no hangover for me today and earned money last night instead of spending it.
Made a big batch of chilli today in the sc as we had friends over for dinner, but I did manage to save a portion for me to take to work tomorrow.0 -
Back to work today
Still now not back until next week
£9.77 paid into savings today from a mixture of interest and rounding down acc. Lunch today at work was left over dinner from last night, and my purse didn't leave my bag all day.
Hubby has donated a game for me to sell which has been listed on Amazon and I have revisted the FB selling page in the hope I can start to shift some more clutter.0 -
Well done with that double time. I still haven't got round to getting onto eBay!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Not a lot happening here this week, I think I'm still slightly in xmas mode. Back at work and not a lot of money being spent which is good.
£7 into savings0 -
Hopefully getting back to work will keep me from spending too- one of the few benefits of working2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Hubby's car went for an MOT today .... and passed! we were both shocked but relieved. There is some work that needs doing to it, but at least we can now do this at our leisure.
Ebay is my friend and I will repeat that until I clear out some of the clutter from my house. My FB selling album keeps growing and I have to try and sell it elsewhere before my selling cupboard wont shut it's doors anymore.0
