Couple more facebook sales of £5.50 but can't see much more before christmas now. I've finished all the present buying bar one and done most of the wrapping.

Heading into an expensive weekend with parties, panto and lunch out but I'll be as good as I can

£100 cheque arrived today as part of cashback when we re mortgaged at the end of our deal so will add that into the savings account. Also received £20 amazon voucher from Hubby's work. I'll save that for birthday presents next year.

Busy busy busy here the week before xmas. I'm trying to get the wrapping finished today and the house in some kind of order. I have the new sofa being delivered today so I know now that my first monthly payment will go out a month from today. I have most of it already waiting for the correct day so all in all not too bad.

have you thought about getting a post office budget card, you can put some money on each month and use that for the car tax

Hope everyone had a lovely xmas. Time to start thinking about the New Year, the savings, earnings, and of course eating all the goodies in the house :)

Sexyshark - I am planning on putting the allocated amount into a savings acc each month for the car

So payday was early for me this month which I don't like very much but am not touching it. I did do some overtime so have transferred the £47 odd into savings.

Thanks so much for noticing I was back. Looks like you have some good goals in place for 2013- I'll try and do better with the cheering you on/ looking sternly at you ( delete as appropriate ;))
How are you doing? Did you have a good Christmas?

Thanks Jellie, yes we had a nice xmas thanks. Not sure it felt much like xmas compared to other years but am enjoying the chill out days that have followed.

Hi pantherchick, thanks for dropping by. It is hard to get back on the wagon, but determination and small steps is the way forward.

It's lovely Jellie, but I am starting to feel very lazy lol. Though not lazy enough to want to get up and do much, though I do need to think about tidying all the toys away and making a start on the declutter.

Last night I downloaded (for free) a run / calorie track app for my phone so it may encourage me to get out exercising more as I refuse to go on holiday next year feeling like a blimp.

The plus side of not moving far from the sofa in the last few days means I haven't spent any money which is good. Though we are out of bleach, coffee, milk and cat food and the bathrooms need cleaning :rotfl:
