Thank god!!!) I dont know if me saying it to her whilst she was asleep made her do it or what
So I had to strip the couch put the covers in the wash etc etc.....
She is 9 months old!

I think the hormones in a female dog can play a part in regards to incontinence so the fact that she's just had a season may be related here.
However, I've found that this guide suggests polyuria (an excessive amount of urination) can be linked to pyometra, and a b1tch can be more susceptible to pyometra after a season because of the changes to the womb so I think I would be getting her to the vet sharpish to have it ruled out, as pyometra can be fatal (and a closed pyometra can have few symptoms)

Might also be worth ruling out a bladder infection, if she's been peeing a lot. The vet can test for this with a simple dip test I believe so a straightforward thing they can rule out. Just remember to mention to them that she's only just stopped bleeding, because a dog can remain fertile for quite a while after the visible symptoms of a season (i.e. bleeding and a swollen vulva) end, so they may wish to have you wait in the car and enter through a side door rather than reception if there's other dogs present.0 -
