Blind company - refund?

Hi, I hope someone can help.
I had 4 blinds (bay window and another window) delivered. The company came out and took the measurements. They were too small, so I waited in to have someone come and remeasure them and then another day to get them fitted again.
The fitter came and the middle blind for the bay was too big, he replaced the two side window blinds, which I think are still to small. You can see the window he said this is the biggest you can get them so they all fit, but the measuring man said he'd get them so they were pretty tight together (I know they'd be a small gap but not see through the window).
The fitter took the longer blind away to get it shortened and return another day.
The 4th blind needs a replacement part as well which wasn't sent out.
I phoned to ask for my money back but they said I couldn't get it back. I'd need to sit in another day to wait for a fitter to come again and see the two smaller blinds. I explained that all the blinds were too small, I gave them the opportunity to fix them, they didn't and I really can't be sitting in the house waiting again for them to come back.
What are my rights because they were made to measure (measured by them, wrongly twice)?
Thanks for your help

Did you pay by credit card? If so, make a claim.
Either way, write to the company (signed for service) and tell them you wish to cancel the order as they have failed to provide a satisfactory service.
Have you tried 'googling' the company to see if this is a common complaint?:hello:0 -
Thanks Tiddlywinks. I have just written a letter to them. It doesn't seem to be a common complaint, but there's always a first!
Just in case people find this in the future and want to know the advice. I phoned Citizens Advice Bureau. They said as it was a made-to-measure service under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 goods have to be of satisfactory quality, free from defects and fit for purpose. You weren't automatically entitled to money back. In the first instance you need to let the company remedy the situation by repairing or replacing.
As the repair and replacement failed it is now not unreasonable to get a refund.
If they wont do anything, send a letter by recorded delivery and get a certificate of posting. Give them a deadline of 10-14 days.
The CAB also give you a reference number for your call which is logged and you can phone them back if the company don't do anything."A strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others" Barnyard the children's film.
