HI all,
Today only I've been having some problems with my net connection.
Firstly it is very slow - for the first time - im on ntl dial up and its always faster than this.
Secondly on some pages Firefox says 'document contains no data' even when I know there is data there.
Thirdly - on some sites I have saved my password using the special function on Firefox so that i just click in the password field and it adds in the password automatically. But today it keeps going back to the 'click here to log in' page instead of actually logging me on.
Am i infected with a Virus?
Thanks

dont know if it will help really but you could try clearing the cache. It is in tools/options
Sometimes when my pages start loading really slowly, that helps.0 -
This seems to be a bug in Firefox. I get it myself sometimes. I find that by refreshing the page (or ctrl and F5) it normally loads fine.
There are a lot of other people having the same problem in other forums too. There doesn't seem to be a definative answer for this yet.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

To be safe, have you updated all your security software and run all?
I have had "document contains no data" for this site and not others sometimes - it could be a site problem. (?)Torgwen.....................

I've had this problem in the past with NTL and Firefox. It seems to sort itself out. Its ok at the moment but NTL does play up from time to time. I once spent ages trying to sort it only to find that the fault waas at their end.0

I'm having problems with Firefox - when I post it freezes, then if I retry, I get a message saying I've already posted. On the Firefox page someone has reported a bug saying this happens on vBulletin Boards. Driving me mad today - course, it wouldn't if I didn't spend somuch time here, lol.0

Yes,I have - in fact the problems have started since I got that version. It's got worse,I get:
a) when I reply to a post,it freezes and I have to open another page
b) I can't go to the next page - it takes several clicks of the link, or stopping and reloading
c) If I click a link to open in a new tab,the tab opens but nothing loads.Have to start again
d) Sometimes I get the no data on this page error
I got so fed up last night I started Internet Explorer up - much better but I really want to stick with Firefox.0 -
Since the board was closed earlier this evening, everything has gone back to normal.:j:j0
