Fill your own crackers

HELP please
OH every year drives me mad looking at every price range of crackers and moaning about the contents but insists we have crackers. I admit I usually end up with very easy generic ones not too costly as I think they are a tragic waste.
So I got to thinking I wouldn't mind too much if the gifts were more fitting so how easy/expensive is it to make crackers and fill myself?
I am not particularly crafty but with instructions I will give it a go

I bought some make your own crackers from Poundland (6 in a pack).
then visited Boots & asked for some perfume/aftershave samples to fill them withSPC 5 no. 1518Grand total £395.300 -
I got one in tescos has everything you need to make it and u just buy the treat - which is what me and OH are doing and we have a budget to see who can get the best gadget!Life is what you make it.0

I bought Asda pack of 7 make your own crackers for £3.50 you get paper hats and jokes and cute little berries decorations and ribbons to make them look pretty too. I've been doing these for a few years now and put a chocolate treat inside from the tin of roses I buy for Xmas, choose each persons favourite to make it more personal. For gift ideas - keyrings, mini bottles of booze, mini toiletries/make up or perfume/aftershave samples. For kids small toys - hair bobbles for girls, it's surprising what fits in and good fun to make them.0

Hawkins Bizarre also sell the packs, very simple to make0

I did them a few years back and added the mini green and blacks choc bars (can usually get them in variety pack this time of year) everyone was well pleased as I tagged their names on so each got favourite flavour.

I saw these, have you made them up yet & are they OK?0 -
The other year, I told my mum of a genius idea I'd seen where you buy cheap crackers, then stuff a scratchcard inside each one (you roll them up small enough then poke them down the hole in the end).
She thought it was a good idea too, and decided it was my job to sit and poke scratchcards into about 8 crackers. Me and my big mouth!0
