    realy! learn something everyday. Does not sound too secure. There again I know what to do when my Mondeo battery gives up. [only kidding]:)

    you've tried putting wd40 in the locks, using the key to manually open the car? if the battery was dead it wouldn't prevent that. nor would it sound the alarm if you just smash a window.

    I wouldn't waste time doing anything else. or just scrap it, and when they turn up, get them to smash the window open, and open the doors, drop the back seats down and get your stuff/p*rn/g*ns/academic research papers on quantum theory
