Wall tiles - tile paint or transfers?

I bought my flat 6 months ago and I don't like the some of the tiles in my bathroom. The top half of the walls have white tiles which are lovely, but the bottom ones are a custard yellow colour, not really a colour I want for my bathroom.
The tiles in the bathroom are practically new so I don't want them ripped out, (I'm also skint and can't afford to replace them all
)
So what would be the best option, Paint or transfers? baring in mind i'm a DIY novice and have no cash to replace tiles if it goes t*ts up
Thanks x

I personally loathe painted tiles and think they look cheap and nasty.
If it were me and I couldn't afford to replace the tiles I'd try a pack of the self adhesive transfers to see what I thought of the finished product and if I was happy with it, then I'd go out and buy further packs to finish the job.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Tile paint looks hideous. It should be cast to hell and damnation along with celery and saniflos.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Don't paint them, it will end badly! Give the transfers a try.0

My bathroom was plain white tiles ,floor to ceiling. I bought 2 packs of tiles ,and tried them sellotaped to where I wanted them, moved them 2-3 times until I got a pleasing ,to me, pattern.
Then I stuck them down finally, but in the end I only needed 1 pack,,Do I need it or just want it.0
