Robbie Williams Arena Tour Entry Question

Hi there

My friends and I have managed to get tickets for Robbie Williams at the Ethiad stadium in June :j. However one of my friends will be very pregnant by this time (almost ready to drop) so will be the size of a house (if past pregnancies are anything to go by). Her evil OH told her last night she won't be able to get in because of the turnstiles, so she now concerned about how she/we will get in to the stadium?

Do we enter by those turnstile thingys like the football fans do or do we go through doors like normal folk? Having never been to an arena concert before neither our friends or I know the answer, she is worried about getting wedged! :rotfl:

I'm sure she would be allowed to use an alternate entrance but would just like to know beforehand!

I have know idea tbh. I assume you got tickets as your a member of RW fan club as they arent selling tickets to anyone else I just asked as I know they are on sale tomorrow
  • my very pregnant friend got through the turnstiles for take that at the etihad, so don't worry too much.

We got our tickets this morning, there was a presale for all on the Robbie Williams mailing list and facebook page, and there's another one now for ticketmaster customers.
  • The turnstiles at the etihad are alright I'm a city fan and go on a regular basis and I've seen plenty of pregnant women there :)

as with most (if not all premier football grounds) they always have extra entrance gates on most turnstile blocks, commonly known as pass out gates

you be fine getting in, there's no need to worry
  • Thanks for the replies, have passed the info onto her and she is much more relaxed now!

Her OH had been winding her up all day, he doesn't get the Robbie Williams thing, saying that neither does my other half!

I hope this helps you. My OH is from Manchester and I'm up at the Etihad on sunday for the santa stroll so I'll ask which is the best hotel for you if you like?
