For creditors that have the default date after the start of your DRO, or are not marked as settled or a partial settlement, you follow much the same procedure as in this link.
----> Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy
The principles on correcting the files are the same.
Except that you need to modify the letter to suit a DRO.
For example like the one here ---> https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/44051186#Comment_44051186Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

How much later is the default than the DRO?
If a debt is passed on, it is sometimes removed from your credit report and added again by whoever bought it. The default amount/date etc should not be changed. Sometimes the original creditor will update your credit report though.
I would do everything in writing, signed for if you can. That way, they can't fob you off easily. Make sure you mark your letter as a complaint as then they have rules/times to follow and you can take higher if you get no joy.
Not sure how DROs affect your credit report, I would think you get a default that should be marked as settled when you have paid what you are supposed to.:beer:0 -
Thanks both! the date on some of them are a month or so after my DRO but theres two that was in Jan this year, so i should not phone them first to make sure my debt is still with them? Im just bit worried in sending them to the wrong address and also what else do i need to send them? Thanks again.0

A quick call probably won't hurt, but I would never really trust anything they say unless in writing.
Does it say on your credit report who owns the debts? i.e, who's been updating it.
Out of interest, what has it been reported as since the DRO?
As Fermi suggests, you could contact the CRA directly to see what they say about your report being correct. They may be able to talk to the account reporter for you.:beer:0 -
Hi happy_bunny! Only the creditors name is on there thats who has been updating it on all of them it has a D at the start with some 0 numbers and on a few U at the end of it.0

'U' means unavailable or something like. usually see that for new accounts or accounts being queried.
As the original creditors are updating the entry, they will know who owns the debt as if they sold it on they are updating it for the company they sold it to. Probably still own it themselves:beer:0
