Anyone want to make their own radiator heat reflectors?

You can buy the 'proper' foil at Amazon. Link. Or using baking foil. Or use those silver car sunshades you find in Poundland.

  • Did you get one Carrie?

Clicked the link, completed the details & submitted @ 15:00 (on the dot ....) and there was none left :(

I'm never lucky with anything like this.

Erm, well I drink quite a lot of water and I didn't check the time and er, well I missed 3pm by a few mins :o

    Evening all

jonno - thanks for starting us off. Any news?!

Well sadly a very mixed day. Day started well but had a phone call from OH at 11.45 saying that he'd gone to see the little furry bundle to give her a treat and he found her dead in the cage :(

That's it for pets now. At least they had happy little lives and were loved and fussed.

    mse-wise:

    B/L/D from stores

    Started patchwork quilt

    Charge phone in work

Try and spend some quality time with OH - both of us sad and probably need cuddles :(

Source cheap train tickets over Christmas to see mum as will not be driving now we don't need to take the furry bundle.

Won't need to worry about heating so much with no furry bundle.

Think that's all. Just feeling a bit sad. Don't really want to go home from work because OH isn't there and will just notice the big empty space in the corner. I might put a plant there.

Hope everyone has a better day.

Awww, thanks for asking Perni - I have OK days and not so OK days ..... GP & Registrar wanted me to go back into hosp last week (not on my "to do" list;)) but have so far managed to stay at home - waiting to see Consultant again, have next Infusion next week & a CT scan on the 18th ... a bit in limbo really .....

As long as you're not in hospital for Xmas, that really would be horrible! Hope you're feeling much better soon & the consultant has good news for you when you see him/her. Infusion sounds a bit scary  Hope it's nothing to fear! x

Aww I'm really sorry :( Sending virtual hugs your way :grouphug: & you are right at least you know she had a good life with you! Take care hun x
