Thursday 29th November - What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important. :money:
Hi everyone, I hope you're all ok
My list for today:
freeze bread roll from other day in my 'left over bread bag' so I can make breadcrumbs at a future date
melas from stores
wash bedlinen, dry over doors
list 10 things on e*bay - I WILL do this
Post 3 sold things from e*bay - didn't do this yesterday
Find present out of stash for a birthday party DD is going to on Sunday and wrap
Find an old cardboard box to put all charity shop items in, so I can just drop off and they don't have to unpack from my lovely re-useable plastic boxes
£co cashback has been paid £5.90 - transfer to wardrobe fund if it arrives - has been coming on day the send the e-mail recently
Pay utilities bill - move money from saved funds
Quality time with DH as he is off work today
Give birth - now that would be handy, particularly due to ^^, but, as we all know, not that simple :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone

Morning everyone
thanks to Jonno for starting us off, hope you have a lovely day with DH & errrr things go to plan:)
It was bloomin' cold here this morning - nearly freaked that my 1st drive on mains roads in 7+ weeks was when it's icey! Only had Dinky 3-4 weeks before I got ill & was only just getting used to her being an automatic - have no idea how to stop in ice with no gears to slow down through:eek:Just need dog food and diluting juice. Will head to MrT's with their 25% off dog food deals :T
Does anyone know how long this lasts?
Honestly, just been & didn't realise there was 25% off - no bloomin' signs up by the pet food:mad:
Got 5 tins of the stuff the cats love (and only get for a treat now & then!) as it was 5 for £2, just noticed there's 25% (calculated on the full price) taken off my bill - so 5 for £1.28 :T which is fabby - would've bought loads more if I'd realised
List for today:- Had bath
- Thermals on ..... heating off
- B / L / D from stores - Scrambled egg on toast for lunch & pork chop for dinner
- Don’t smoke
- Check online banking - not looking good - payday tomorrow

Hi everyone,
Thanks for starting us off Jonno, hope all goes to plan!
RFTA - Are the docs pleased with your progress now?
Today I have/will:-- Made use of free water & milk at work
- Paid in a cheque & paid £70 off CCH on my lunchbreak & rushed back to work so I didn't "just have a look" in any shops & then spend loads!
- Food from stores
- Dinner from meal plan - Veg risotto
- Charged phone at work
- Heating off as long as possible, lots of layers are the way forward
- Daily clicks etc on Sw@gbucks
- Log calories using free app
- Check online banking
- Surveys
- Declutter & flylady
- Check for new mystery shopping opportunities
- Enter some comps
- Sort out items to return to New L00k
- Pop to Mr T's straight after work for a big shop, saves petrol rather than going home & out again.
- Wash clothes on quick 15min wash & hang up to dry - going to hopefully sell them at the car boot sale on Sunday so need to make them fresh after lying around in boxes/bags for months
- Price up a few more items tonight.
- Stay motivated

I use this service instead of RoyalMail: Collect Plus from your local corner shop.
Martin has this useful page about parcel services too: LinkDebt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

I've used this one recently after it was recommended by someone https://www.myhermes.co.uk/wps/portal/PN_CTR/Home/homepage/
Parcel was going to be £12.30 through RM but only £5.99 - that's a heck of a difference:eek:
There are drop off points but they also collect from your home address - fab if you're stuck in like me!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
