A usb flash drive would be better, get more use out of it.
16gb if want to do it one go or 8gb to do in 2 or 3 batchesMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
how do you do it withe the flash drive ?0

The USB / flash drive just plugs into your USB port. Once Windows has recognised it, open Windows Explorer (Windows Button + E key on the keyboard). It may be easier to open two Explorers (press the key combination again). Have the photo folder open in one window, and the USB drive in the other - then just highlight all the ones you want to transfer and drag and drop them into the other window.0

If you have a lot of photos and videos and you do not want to lose them I would back them up to an external hard drive and dvd

don't need to spend any money, just network the 2 machines and copy the files across. Always good idea to keep 2 or more copies - if you are disposing of the old machine, you could also put the old disk in a usb disk caddy, and use for backups, more useful than an easy transfer cable!!

Just remember, if you're copying things across the network (especially wireless) it is likely to take a lot longer than copying to an external hard drive via USB or Firewire.0
