Grrrrr I did something silly

I've sent an item to a buyer BEFORE receiving payment for it. Silly I know but I was moving house and didn't want to delay them receiving the item if I lost internet connection, so I thought I'd send it on good faith and surprise surprise 2 weeks later they still haven't paid.

I've messaged buyer a few times but got absolutely no response, so I've now opened an unpaid item case but it looks like I'm going to kiss goodbye to payment. Unless anyone else knows of anything else I can do?

No chance. You've left yourself wide open there.

Thanks - I thought so too, but it was worth asking.

I won't be making that mistake again in a hurry!

Oh dear I hope you didn't lose too much money on that. Never mind we all make mistakes and you were just trusting the buyer would be honest. I still think apart from a few muppets most are honest and would have paid up you were just unlucky.

Just put it behind you. :)
  • I also did this once, it was quite a low priced item and I was going away for a few days. I even sent them a Christmas card with the invoice in, but they still didn't pay, lol.
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

Oh dear, its annoying that you get fleeced when you are just trying to be nice. Maybe you might get a nice surprise one of these days and it will suddenly turn up.

Its sad that this one plonker is going to affect your thinking for the rest of your life, trust wise.

I'm a great believer in Karma, buy a lottery ticket this week:D
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

It wasn't too expensive thank goodness so I'll put it down to experience and move on.

Re: putting in Christmas card too - that really adds insult to injury lol.

Glad to know I'm not the only one to do this.

    I don't believe in Karma.

I do believe in cold blooded vengeance. ;)
  • Have you raised a NPB case with them?

It would be simpler to raise an NPB case. You may not get your item back or get paid but you might get them a strike.
