Again, I've been AWOL for a while. This pregnancy is really taking its toll (19 weeks in and still being sick :( )

Luckily I get full sick pay or I would be snookered!

Signed up for mystery shopping - yay. Did it before and enjoyed it so I can hopefully make a few pennies that way.

Got £27.55 from TCB which was swiftly transferred into my savings account (includes a long awaited amount from the AA)

Trying to do more surveys on onepoll and valued opinions. Almost at £37 on onepoll and i'm figuring that my V.O. Vouchers can go towards Christmas (although I'm ready saving through Park) or a huge food shop near the end of the year.

Also been on the benefit calculators working out how much tax credits and chb I will get after September (don't qualify at the moment as I have only one child) and working out a budget for baby milk and nappies lol.

    Payday :j

I have paid £54.31 across to savings. Would have been double but I wanted to put some money into an emergency account that I could get my hands on instantly.

Not updating front sheet just yet as I have more to go across before the end of the month.

    Keep saving everyone ;)

    Good morning everyone,

Well done MoneyHungry for overcoming your gambling addiction. I stopped smoking in January and I know how hard it is.

Payday today ....... wonderful!! Just noticed that I got a little interest on my e-saver account of £26. Transferred this straight into Santander ISA account which is fixed for 2 years (but can add to it until 30 May 2013).

I will work out my savings over the weekend as I have twin grandbabies arriving soon and am currently cavorting to Germany to see their mum with my youngest DD every couple of weeks and ordering loads of baby stuff. I tell ya, my 3 daughters are far too spoilt! Twin pram she wants costs €1,799. Must be made by Ferrari! My son-in-law collects movies which are often only available/cheaper here in the UK. An email later and £80 poorer. That will be his birthday gift !

Happy saving everyone and stay focused .....

I am declaring a lovely £300 into my savings in April, bringing me to £450. Still not masses and masses, but it's definitely something, and should be able to continue this month. Certainly, going to stick £700 over to savings account tomorrow (payday) with the aim of keeping at least half of that there again. Putting more over than I can save seems to work for me, means I can trickle it back into my current account in the second half of the month, without overspending or being unable to save a decent amount! Even more exciting, the OH has £300 in savings for the first time in years!

Got a bit distracted mid-month by running my first marathon (3 hours 57 minutes :D - I can almost walk again too ;) ) but back on the savings horse, adding it all up makes £1656.40 for April and i'm now at £5108.40 for the year so far.

Looks like we'll have a bit of a financial shake-up in September time, so need to press on while we can

Only got charged £20 for my haircut (instead of £24) so that £4 is of to the savings pot (literally a Mickey Mouse tea canister lol). Not a major amount but every little helps!
