Reclaiming Bank Charges - Scarry!

I followed the advice and asked my bank (Lloyds TSB) to refund my charges, 14 days ago!
Now I have to sent them the second letter, right? Did plus a copy of 1st letter because still no reply and registered post.
Listing charges? is that the O/D and R/D charges and what else? I am an old pensioner and do not know much about this. Will you please give me an idea what they are?
I am petrified and think I should never have sent that letter!
My bank charges was £1005.00 since I open my account on the 21st June 2002.
The charges happened when the money I get every month was a day or even the same day (just a few hours late!)
Please help me or do you think I should rather leave it?
ANYBODY HELP!
Regards

Hello
Don't leave it- you're claiming back what is rightfully yours.
Sorry I can't do links, but if you go the step by step thread, it will tell you the various guises banks use for charges.
Did you do the spreadsheet- again in the step by step thread. This details date of charge and what the charge is for eg unpaid DD, Returned Chq etc.
Hope this helps!0 -
Absolutely doing the right thing. They hope for people giving up or not bothering.
Oh and ignore the silly games lloyds play like trying to delay..delay delay.0
