How about people take some personal responsibility?
Let's hope if you lose your job you show us how you will take personal responsibility when you can't get another one.

You have no idea of other people's person circumstances. Why are you so smug and judgemental?

Please spare us from the preachers.

Perhaps they should cap MPs expenses, salaries and pensions.

Perhaps they should investigate MPs letting out their homes to other MPs.
I was just wondering the other day whether - in light of the expenses scandal - MPs are still able to claim £400 a month for food? [Off topic I know] MPs obviously needing a higher caloric input [of 'brain-food'?] than their basic salaries alone could be expected to pay for.

there should be a minimum payment of the amount outstanding. With a rule to pay e.g. 5% of the total outstanding every month people will see that they can't borrow limitless

No thank you. I knew I couldn't get limitless borrowing. But I did finance part of my legal education via fees paid on a CC with a very low repayment requirement. (Interest + £5, I think.) The balance barely moved for over a year. Then it got paid down.

With your rule my options would have been more limited.
