Christmas present help!!

Got the kids (neices, nephew) so the MAIN part is done but really struggling for everyone else. Like the idea of hampers but not creative and don't know where I would begin.

I have the following to buy for

Mum: Said she wants PJ bottoms but what else? She likes Bacardi and Morgans Spiced ... could I do some sort of hamper?

Dad: Have no idea what to get him :(

Brother 1 and sis in law: Said not to get them anything cos I bought the kids but want to get them something small, maybe £10-£20 between them.

Brother 2 and fiance: Again, said not to get them much as they have a baby but want to get them something.

Brother 3: Awkward age, 17. Likes to drink, not much else... likes football (watching) and nandos. Was thinking this thing I seen in Boots, Match of the Day quiz (electronic) or is that too babyish?
He also has a girlfried I would like to spend £5-£10 on... she's 17 too.

Arrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • You could do some lovely hampers on your budget. An easy, cheap way is to cover boxes with wrapping paper or use cardboard storage boxes you can get in places like Home Bargains. Some ideas:

Mum-Night in/Pamper night basket containing pyjamas, bottle of bacardi/Morgans, mixer, nibbles, nail varnish, face mask etc. (if she uses those sorts of things)

Brothers 1 and 2 and SILs: You could do movie night in hampers easily for £10 per hamper. You can get DVDs really cheaply on Amazon, popcorn, sweets, bottle of drink, crisps.

Brother aged 17-Could you do a night out hamper with shower gel, body spray, hair gel, some alcohol, maybe a Nandos gift card.

Hope this gives you some ideas. :)

Thanks I am defo thinking hampers. Already have one box which we could use, I bought OH a sweetie hamper for birthday and we kept the box. Will do a movie night for brother 2 and fiance as they would like that kind of thing.

Brother 1 and sis in law aren't really movie people so don't really know what to do for them. Maybe just seperate smellies (boring I know).

I have lots of shops reachable, home bargains, £lands, B&M bargains etc so will go hunt next week :D

Now tryna think of the DVDs I need !!

Perhaps a meal hamper for brother 1 and SIL? So for example if they like curries, get all the makings for one and put it in a hamper.

Or a coffee and tea hamper? Upmarket brand coffee, Twinings tea, mugs, biscuits.

I don't really know what my other brother likes to be honest ! He is a taxi driver so doesn't have a lot of spare time... sis in law isn't too hard to get for she likes smellies (have just moved to a house with shower only) and like Soap and Glory stuff...

I was also going to suggest a night in hamper for your mum! Could maybe throw in a DVD as well - you can get some chick flicks for like £3 sometimes in Tesco.

I don't know if it's the sort of thing your brother and sister-in-law would like, but last year for my cousin and her partner I did a little hamper with balsamic vinegar, two flavoured oils, sun-dried tomatoes and olives, as she always used to ask for those things to be on the shopping list when we go for our weekends away :)

How about a thermos to keep his coffee / tea in when he is out and about so he can have a warm drink between fares?
